Regular contributor to Connected, the company magazine for Edwards Vacuum employees. Translated into 8 languages and distributed to a global workforce of more than 3,000, the magazine is a key internal communications tool. Most recently, writing the City Focus travel features on Yokohama and Stockholm, and a special feature on Leybold, the latest acquisition by the company’s parent company, Atlas Copco.

“Few people are aware that deep beneath the Group Centre building lies a mine, which can be reached by taking a lift from reception. The mine has been in operation since 1938, but no minerals or ore have ever been extracted from the 3 kilometres of tunnels. The Atlas Copco Mine is a mine used for test-drilling and product development.”
